              The Wharton county republican party hosts a candidate forum at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at the Wharton County Youth Fair Auditorium in Crescent. Admission is free. The public is invited to meet and hear candidates competing in the upcoming March 1 Republican Primary Election. A free stew supper for attendees will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
