Join fellow animal lovers at “Waggin’ Tails,” a crawfish boil at the historic Pierce Ranch, on Saturday, April 20, 4-8 pm, a fundraiser supporting Wharton County's homeless dogs and cats. We will be honoring Dwight King, D.V.M., and Sandy Cross. This event will offer the southern charm and scenery of the Shanghai Pierce ranch coupled with the fun atmosphere of zydeco music and traditional tastes of crawfish, corn and potatoes. It's sure to be a night to remember! SPOT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping the abandoned pets of Wharton County. Our mission is to educate the public on the plight of abandoned pets and to provide humane care, treatment and suitable homes for animals without owners.
