              The Delta Kappa Gamma women teachers’ society will host a fried chicken meal fundraiser Wednesday, March 9 at the Wharton Civic Center from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Plates are $9 and arrangements can be made for delivery to El Campo or Louise. Proceeds to towards scholarships in Wharton County. For tickets or to arrange plates, call Susan at 979-578-1172.
